YMCA Peace Medal
Our International Program presents the
YMCA Peace Medal annually during YMCA Peace Week to an
individual, couple or group in our community to recognize the
efforts and talents of ordinary Canadians who work behind the
scenes locally and globally to promote the ideals of peace and
make our world more fair and just. In the nominations we
are looking for people who:
Work without any special
resources, status, wealth or position
Work without expecting
recognition
