COLBORNE YMCA
Just 10 minutes west of our Brighton facility, Colborne is home to several unique services through YMCA Northumberland. With affordable membership options, a short drive down Highway 2 means unlimited access to Brighton’s conditioning centre and first-rate fitness classes.
Our Mobile Outreach program makes routine stops in Brighton, offering toy and book lending, playgroups and various literacy and parenting programs to help children learn and grow alongside their caregivers. During the summer months, youth can beat the heat in Dr. Harnden’s backyard pool. YMCA Northumberland and the kids of Crahame Township extend their deepest appreciation to Dr. Harnden for his ongoing generosity, as he allows us to use his pool each summer. With no other recreational pools in the area, this partnership with Dr. Harnden is an excellent opportunity for our youth. At this pool, we also offer swimming lessons to kids of all ages and abilities.
