Mobile Outreach

Seven playgroups and four OEYC sites are supported throughout the region by the Mobile Outreach van, which lends toys, videos and books to rural families free of charge.

Playgroups usually meet twice a month at various community locations, where parents, caregivers and their children can enjoy crafts, circle time, snacks, and other Play to Learn activities during the two-hour sessions.

Parenting resources, child care information and community agency referrals are available. All toys, books and videos offer up-to-date play value and information.
