Your YMCA is a place where kids of all
ages are accepted and included, learn valuable life skills,
learn to share, to play fairly, to value their friends, to care
for each other, to feel safe and to grow in spirit, mind and
body
Your YMCA is for all people from all walks
of life. We strive to ensure that all kids and families
in our community have the opportunity to
participate in all our membership programs and services, Summer
Day Camp, Membership, Creative and Physical Programs, Aquatics,
Child Care and Leadership opportunities. Through our work with
our partner YMCA in Nicaragua, we work to ensure that children
and youth in a developing country have opportunities for
education, training and recreation.
Our assistance program helps over 700
families every year to participate fully in all YMCA programs
and services and over 100 children to gain values and skills at
our Summer Day Camps.
With the generous financial support of our
members, staff and friends our YMCA
Strong Kids campaign increases the number of kids we can assist and
increases our programming and services to address the changing
needs of our community. Your contribution is an investment in
the future of our community that pays off in more ways than you
can imagine. The YMCA is proactive in providing opportunities
for families to stay healthy together through recreation and
health enhancement programs. Working parents are able to find
quality, licensed child care. Children learn life-long skills
and values in our day camps and programs, and we have the
opportunity to change lives here and in our global community.
