Our YMCA and its members and friends have contributed to the lives of thousands of families, children, youth, seniors and adults of all ages, races, religions and economic backgrounds. We are open to all and through our Assistance Program, supported by the Northumberland United Way and donations from our members and friends, ensure that all in our community have access to YMCA programs and services.

The strength of the YMCA comes from participation. At your YMCA you will find opportunities for personal growth, increased health and stamina, opportunities to volunteer and a variety of ways to become involved. We trust that you will find a welcoming and safe facility, with up-to-date equipment and caring staff and volunteers who show an active concern for your personal progress and that of your family and friends. People of all ages participate in active, healthy living through fitness, aquatics and recreational programs, hundreds of people gain skills, develop confidence and give back to their community as YMCA volunteers.

The Cobourg YMCA has been a part of our community for over 130 years providing programs and services that nurture spirit, mind and body. Since the early days, the Cobourg YMCA has dedicated itself to innovative programming, excellence in service and careful attention to the diverse and changing needs of our community. Today our Cobourg YMCA membership is 5,000 members strong and we are proud of our unique position as a charitable organization
