YMCA Northumberland opportunities to all individuals regardless of race, age, gender, creed, ability or economic circumstance. Men, women and children come to the YMCA to grow and develop. Regular participation in YMCA membership activities supports a well-balanced approach to personal growth, health and wellness.

Our Membership Assistance program serves those individuals and families who have the greatest need in our community, who are unable, not unwilling, to pay the full fee for a membership or for summer day camp or any of our YMCA’s individual programs.

Individuals interested in applying for Membership Assistance should contact our Membership Services Coordinator to receive a tour and make an appointment for a private, confidential interview. The subsidized fee will be determined based on your needs, financial capabilities and your commitment to using your membership.

We currently have over 700 families and individuals participating in our assistance program. This program is made possible through the support of the Northumberland United Way, the YMCA Northumberland and generous donations from our members, staff, friends and community to our Every Kid Deserves a Y annual campaign.
