The Brighton YMCA is a shared experience
for everyone to enjoy. Each of us can make it better for all by
being considerate of others. YMCA members, volunteers and staff
all pledge to treat one another with respect and caring.
To assist you in enjoying your membership,
we ask you to please observe the following:
Please wear standard gym
attire: shorts, bodysuits, tights, t-shirts, track suits, socks
and gym shoes. Shoes with non-marking soles are mandatory in
the gym and squash courts.
Clothing must be in good
condition and not display offensive or profane slogans.
Gym bags are not allowed in
any of the Program areas or Personal Conditioning Centre,
please lock bags in the change room.
Children are not permitted in
areas of the facility during adult programs.
Please accept direction from
all YMCA staff.
Children under the age of 8
must be accompanied by someone 12 years and older when using
the facility.
Please be courteous to your
fellow members and follow the timing and sign-up for cardio
equipment.
Wipe down all equipment after
use – disposal wipes are provided.
As a courtesy to members,
facility doors are unlocked just prior to the scheduled opening
times to allow members to prepare for early morning classes.
Members are asked to vacate the facility in a timely manner at
facility closing time.
