Running for Strong Kids

Meet Yvonne, Lynn, Deb and Nicole. Familiar faces around the Y, as they are active members and volunteers. You may have seen them running around town with the YMCA Running Group. Combined, these ladies have completed 59 half marathons! On October 5th, 2014, they will be participating in the Prince Edward County half marathon. They have been training together, and in the spirit of teamwork and unity, plan to cross the finish line together, recognizing that the journey is much more important than the destination in this case. They have decided to run on behalf of YMCA Strong Kids, donating any money raised to help others in their community have access to opportunity. Their training has been about setting goals, working together to achieve them, and supporting others along the way.
